I remember what a wonderful caring man Martin was when Verna was on my 300 unit years back. He had such a wonderful day at the picnic for his unit last week. RIP Martin!

Grandpa...from Reva Schulman
“Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.” James 3:13, 17-18
This is how I sum up the life of C. Martin Bomberger. Grandpa was a man who understood what love truly is. He understood the truth of God's love that is in Messiah Yeshua and he chose to allow Christ to dwell in his heart and that made all the difference! Ephesians 3:17-19 says:
“so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:17-19
That's why Grandpa's life was so precious and powerful! He became filled with all the fullness of God! He is an exceptional man who embraced me as a daughter, although I always called him, "Grandpa." He knew I had never known either of my own grandfathers, so he 'adopted' me. I always felt I had an open invitation to visit. We nurtured a caring and loving relationship one for another. And I know he embraced many others too, because he and his dear wife obeyed God's law of love throughout their married life! I will miss Grandpa and I will always remember his love!
“For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.””
Galatians 5:14
