My son, Cameron Seiwert, went to Pasco Hernando State College where he shared an apartment with Taylor, Eunice’s grandson. I was nervous about my 18 year old son sharing an apartment with someone he didn’t know well, but all of my nerves dissolved when I met Taylor’s family and even his grandmother at the apartment as we unloaded the Uhaul. Eunice was quiet, but there for her daughter as this transition was unfolding. I saw Eunice several times after that at baseball games since Cameron and Taylor were both left handed pitchers. My husband and I even shared a rented house with Rachel, her sister, and mom in Greenville, SC for district tournaments. She was a pillar of strength and showed much love/joy watching her grandson on the mound. Heaven has welcomed a gentle soul who loved life and her family.
